Clinical Photography Policy
Effective Date: 07/08/2024

At Court Aesthetics, we understand the importance of clinical photography in documenting client progress and outcomes. As part of our commitment to providing exceptional care, we have developed this clinical photography policy to ensure the safe and ethical use of client images, storage of data, compliance with GDPR requirements, and consent for using images on social media.

Image Storage
All clinical images taken at Court Aesthetics will be securely stored in an encrypted digital format.
Access to patient images will be restricted to authorised personnel directly involved in the client’s care.
Client images will be stored on password-encrypted servers located within our partner medical records system ‘CleverClinic’.
All images will be backed up regularly to minimise the risk of data loss.
Clinical images will be retained as per legal and regulatory requirements with the minimum retention period specified in law.

GDPR Requirements
Court Aesthetics acknowledges the importance of protecting the privacy and personal data of our clients in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). When capturing and storing clinical images, we will ensure that necessary consent forms are completed by the client to comply with GDPR requirements. Clients will be given clear and understandable explanations regarding the purpose and potential uses of their images during the consent process. See our Privacy Policy for further details.

Use of Images on Social Media or Advertising.
We believe in client privacy and confidentiality. To that end we do not request, take, or publish any client photos to social media or any other form of advertising. All your photos are for clinical purposes only.
